چکیده

We observed HCO+ J = 1 ? 0 and H13CO+ emission toward the five protoplanetary disks around IM Lup, GM Aur, AS 209, HD 163296, MWC 480 as part of MAPS project. is detected mapped at 0.?3 resolution in all disks, while (S/N > 6?) Aur 163296 tentatively 3?) other by a matched filter analysis. Inside radius R ? 100 au, column density flat or shows central dip. At outer radii (?100 au), decreases outward, ratio HCO+/CO mostly range ?10?5–10?4. derived abundance warm CO-rich layer, where expected to be dominant molecular ion. ? ?3 × 10?11 3 10?10, which consistent with template disk model X-ray ionization. smaller radii, inward, indicates that ionization degree lower denser gas, especially inside CO snow line, layer midplane. Comparison models densities HCO+, N2H+, N2D+ midplane rate ?10?18 s?1 for 163296. also find hints an increased location dust continuum gaps 480. Disk Dispersal and Planet Formation Time Scales

Well before the existence of exo-solar systems was confirmed, it was accepted knowledge that most – if not all – stars possess circumstellar material during the first one-to-several million years of their pre-main sequence lives, and thus that they commonly have the potential to form planets. Here I summarize current understanding regarding the evolution of proto-planetary dust and gas disks, e...

Star and Planet Formation with ALMA: an Overview

Submillimeter observations with ALMA will be the essential next step in our understanding of how stars and planets form. Key projects range from detailed imaging of the collapse of pre-stellar cores and measuring the accretion rate of matter onto deeply embedded protostars, to unravelling the chemistry and dynamics of high-mass star-forming clusters and highspatial resolution studies of protopl...

Disk-Planet Interactions During Planet Formation

The discovery of close orbiting extrasolar giant planets led to extensive studies of disk planet interactions and the forms of migration that can result as a means of accounting for their location. Early work established the type I and type II migration regimes for low mass embedded planets and high mass gap forming planets respectively. While providing an attractive means of accounting for clo...

Co Gas inside the Protoplanetary Disk Cavity in Hd 142527: Disk Structure from Alma

Inner cavities and annular gaps in circumstellar disks are possible signposts of giant planet formation. The young star HD 142527 hosts a massive protoplanetary disk with a large cavity that extends up to 140 au from the central star, as seen in continuum images at infrared and millimeter wavelengths. Estimates of the survival of gas inside disk cavities are needed to discriminate between clear...
